Peapod's Kittens

Hi
As some of you know one of my raggies was expecting kittens. We had worked out her due date as 20th March from her stud visit but Peapod had other ideas by mating on her first day there they came on Saturday/Sunday 10th and 11th March and maybe a couple of days early.
She decided to have one in the cat litter tray whilst we were at the Show in Wigan with Grace my little raggie and luckily i found it when we got home and managed to warm the little thing up but unfortunately to no avail the sweetie died last night
She had a long and tiring labour (over the space of 24 hours ) one being there when we got in around 7.30 on saturday evening and the last one being born at 6.30 pm sunday night.
She then had a slight mishap with a breech kitten which had the cord wrapped round its leg and she bit through the leg bless it. Took it straight to the vets and the little one is on antibiotics and a pain killer but is doing marvellously. The vets have said the little one will have to have its back leg amputated from above the knee but should be able to go on and have a perfectly normal life as aparently they adapt so well. So now its do we find him or her a very special home and let it go, or does it stay here with us still not decided on that one.
Then to put the icing on the cake she decided it would be rather good fun for her to rest and do nothing and me to hand feed the little darlings every two hours up until this morning when she kindly decided to take over. Leaving me totally wiped out and shattered. But very proud non the less i have managed to get them this far.
Here is just a couple of pictures of the littlies when they were born and i will keep updating as they grow and we find out their sexes and colours etc.

Hope you like them
Sarah

oh I see, she had a kitten at home - whilst you were out at the show.
I thought it seemed a bit odd - I understand now.
