What month it is! One solitary bloom in mid-February...

Thanks, Mags! I like this lavendar one; also have the common red, a white (which also is budding again) and a tangerine one. They're such easy house plants...

Yes they do, Fran. Sometimes they'll start in very late November, but normally in December: something to do with the decreased hours of daylight. There is a closely related variety called Easter cactus which usually blooms more or less around Easter, which varies such lot. ...probably should be called Spring cactus. I'll see if I can find a pic.....
