Declan, Chad & mavis

Here are 2 of ny rescue cats in each others arms, Declan on the left was swung against a wall by his tail over 7yrs ago,(he was about 6mths old) & left for dead he sustained a fractured tail base with partial hindquarter paralysis & some brain damage he is a real sweetie with a mental age of about an 8week kittie. Chad was one of litter than was attacked by another cat then left with bites over his body, he lost a hind leg & his tail at 10dys of age due to infection & gangrene he was also hand reared as his prevoius owner did not want him, he is very strongwilled & has been clicker trained !
Mavis the ginge on her own was found when she was 5mths old wandering the streets with a broken leg, when x-rayed she had already had a pin in the bone although there was no evidence of this, no shaved leg etc but she had another fracture through her knee of the same leg, she was never claimed despite extensive efforts.

Have plenty more yet to come
X K

It never ceases to amaze how badly people will treat cats...or any animal for that matter. Well done you for taking them in and giving them the love and care they deserve. Lovely cats!

Thank you for taking these poor kitties in. How could anyone hurt a cat (or any animal for that matter )? They are such darlings and they're looking so sweet and comfortable there in that 1st pic
