The day dawned a bit misty moisty but the sun is trying valliantly now. Mild again.
Have to do a bit of tidying/preparation for the carpet measuring man later. Otherwise, just TGIF I suppose.

Morning all, lovely sunny day here again

Feeling somewhat better than I have of late, so hoping I am finally starting to shake this bug. Got bits and pieces of things to do today..nothing too exciting

Glad your feeling a bit better Fran. I've had even more men in my bedroom today, lol! One with a camera too!!!! He was taking pics of my 'lovely' new flue for their rogues gallery, lol! But they got the top man out from the gas contractors and they will be here on wednesday to sort out the mess, remove the flue from my bedroom and put it outside the building where it should have gone in the first place and do all the other things that have been mucked up. Off to the cat show tomorrow at Bingley Hall. Might meet up with one or two people from here, lol! Have a good day everyone.

I've been in the garden this afternoon, the narcissi and dwarf daffs are in bud, the crocus are showing, the fuschias have leaf buds opening ........ oh the joy of things to come!

Glad you're having some Springlike weather, Mags! The snow/ice storm went South of us, thank God, all we got was some cold rain. Gloomy and a tad of drizzle now. To market, a bit of cleaning and just messing around with papers and crossword. Fed Onyx and petted her again today...have noticed that if she's facing you and you extend your hand toward her she flinches away, but if she's sideways to you, you can stroke her back and she doesn't object...odd, but will place her plate in future so she's sideways to me. Have a nice evening, all!

What do you suppose could make her nervous about a hand approaching her head, but OK with having her back stroked? Maybe she was hit once from the front..?? Oh, if they could only talk..
