Daily thread ~ Thursday

Good morning everyone!

Brrrr ..... it's very frosty here today, Cassie has pestered me for an early breakfast and is now out chasing a stick round the garden .......... how nice to have such energy at this time of the day!

Not a lot planned for today, have some curtains to wash and general household chores to do.

Hope you all have an enjoyable day!

Re: Daily thread ~ Thursday

Morning Mags, morning all..

Its very cold today also but still bright.

I have the funeral to attend today, then I will be dashing home to go to a meeting at my Daughters School about School Camp.

I really hope I get the new job I am going for, its my second part of the interview on Saturday, I will be working for them to see if I like it - this will enable me to not work every day during the week and cram my hours into just 3 days.

Mau and Vincent have braved the cold and gone out the others are snoozing x

Bright and crisp here too. It would be a nice day but my dad has been admitted to hospital again Chest and urinary infections apparently. Am I being unduly pessimistic thinking his body is just worn out and can't (?shouldn't be strained to?) keep going like this? Once again I say that we are able to assist our pets in such situations more than we can our parents.

DM so sorry your Dad is poorley again.

We have been out doing a mad shop for cleaning materials ect for the house tomorrow. We should get the keys about 12ish.
Plan of action is to clean from top to bottom and at least get the livingroom decorated over the weekend and carpet laid for the suit on Mon.
By Wed we will be moved in and have to move beds ect to decorate, but hey whoes worried .
The first thing I'm doing is getting the nets and curtains down from the livingroom, nets black, curtains been there since the blits and never washed Got new one's anyway.
Will take before and after photo's. Dont know when I will get connected though.

Everyone have a great weekend and I will be back ASAP.

The frost has slowly thawed and it is now a beautiful day here, though still perishing cold
I'm glad I put the fleece jacket over my Acer last weekend ........... I'm not sure it would have survived its first hard winter frost without it

DM
- sorry to hear you dad isn't well again, hope the infections clear up soon....

Re: Daily thread ~ Thursday

Thanks Fran. The house is alot smaller. No uninvited guests can move in . The main thing is we have sorted out everything and I'm sure we will be fine. It's cozy, ours, NO stairs and I'm so exited!!
This is great.
