Fencing panels

Well hopefully next week me and the OH are going to order our fencing panels for the garden.

We are thinking of getting these, what does everything think?? They are 6 foot panels

Re: Fencing panels

Love them! They have "personality", not like the usual dull stockade fence type of paneling......

Re: Fencing panels

Thanks everybody, we will be having concrete posts and 6 inch concrete gravel boards. I am hoping to put some nice deep borders in the garden to make it look a bit more interesting.

At the moment these fencing panels are half price at Homebase (they were £49 now £25 which I think is quite good) we just need to measure the garden tomorrow and work out how many we need (we think 30 to do both sides of the garden)

Re: Fencing panels

I think they're lovely! I have shaped trellis and it looks quite decorative. Are you keeping yours plain or painting it?

Re: Fencing panels

We would normally put some sort of preserver on them, (I would even paint them a nice colour, but the OH isn't very keen) but we are thinking of leaving them just plain and see how they go.

Re: Fencing panels

I think they'll end up going a grey colour if left untreated. Which isn't a problem as it kind of blends into the garden rather than standing out as a 'colour' per se.

Mine are dark green but I actually wish now I hadn't painted them
