For Alex - The Jungle Room

Couple of shots of it for you...minus the mini tiger, who was being a nesh cat on the radiator! That Christnas cactus in the birdcage stand is over 49 years old!

Oh that's lovely Eileen. It must be so nice to sit in there on a sunny day feeling as if you are somewhere tropical! A good book and a glass of something cold by your side. Heaven!!

I am so envious Eileen, it's such a pretty and interesting room. I'd love to sit in there on a sunny day. Can't believe how old that cactus is!!! It's older than me

Actually, Fran, that's a typo! It's over 40 years old...I think about 45, actually...I've been in this house since 1965 , and it was several years old when I moved!

Thanks, Mags! It's great on a cold Winter day to sit in the sunshine amid the greenery and dream of Summer! I finally figured out the posting bit: no one said that when that funny little box with the red and blue squiggles in it appeared in the post I had to do the Apple key and V again ...that was the secret!! Anyhow, now I can do it, and am chuffed!

Glad you liked it; you said you'd like to see it...so here it is...minus Leia, but you saw HER chair there, the one with the extra yellow cushion! Wish you could join me there!
