Sports events that gripped the WorldSame theme really What Sports event has really gripped the nation or you? For me it was Snooker  Dennis Taylor V Steve Davis in the mid 80's

Dont really watch sports. If England win the world cup in footy then that will be good. Otherwise I cant see the attraction with sports TBH! |

My family are staunch QPR fans and they were in the Cup Final on my wedding day in May 1982. My brother & sister and 2 uncles all went to the match in preference to my wedding!!  Thankfully my dad didn't go and my sister says she since regretted her choice!  I have forgiven them now!  |
