I wouldnt like a house makeover really - a garden one would be great as it is a big job for me to change the garden drastically. And I dont really care who does it as long as it looked good!!

I don't think I'd like to let any designers loose in my house!! I definately don't like the ideas they come up with on TV!

Re: House makeovers could you?

I have a lot of time for LLB as he understands design principles from a historical perspective and can apply them in a relevant way . . . although TV makeover shows are just that - TV makeovers - and the focus is on good TV rather than good design! He is the only good thing to have come out of that dreadful 'Changing Rooms'.

I would have a designer work on my house, however I would put together a very tight brief and keep a close eye on what was being proposed and subsequently carried out.
