Last supper!

Well, the boys have had their last food before heading off to the vets tomorrow (they think they are getting a slap up breakfast - chop & chips! ). Goodness knows how I'm going to convince them to settle down unfed tonight .... and as for tomorrow morning, well! A lie-in is called for, followed by stuffing them in their boxes and scooting off to the surgery.
I'll be glad when it's over. It's barely more than a dental extraction but still ......

Re: Last supper!

Aww poor boys....but we all know it's for the best I'm sure they will soon be back to normal, chasing around and causing mischief, DM

I think the worse part of it is having to starve them beforehand....then having to look at their little faces looking at you quizzically, trying to fathom out why you haven't fed them

Good luck tomorrow DM....and try not to worry too much

My Broxi got done 3 weeks ago and still hasn't forgiven me. He walks off in a huff whenever I go near him!

He wished!

Nope, my boys are strictly indoor cats. I've seen to many accidents with cats and as I live beside quite a busy road I wasn't taking any chances.

Right, it's the starving part that's so awful...they look at you so pleadingly ...... and the guilt trip is heavy.....remember it well!

I'll be thinking of you and the boys tomorrow DM . . . just make sure you put a padlock on the cupboards and the fridge tonight . . . they're more resourceful than you realise . . .

Re: Last supper!

Oh heavens I was dreading taking Alfie next friday now I am even more mortified. Don't know how I am going to get up on "the" morning and not feed any of them until after Alfie goes to the vet at 8.00 and I cannot bear the thought of him ignoring me.
