Monday's Thread

Well, as you can is it's 4am and I'm at the PC having slept barely a wink!!! Sebastian has been a devil - awake either slurping his bottle or yelling for it and then rejecting it! Had to come downstairs to let hubby get some sleep - he's got a day at work tomorrow and has to take Dominik to nursery . . . I can catch up on my sleep during the day if need be. Have just tried Sebastian with a dummy and that seems to have pacified him a little so he's kipping in his pram.

Not sure what I'm going to do now though . . .

Re: Monday's Thread

Hello Yola, morning all.

I was up before 5.00am too, have a nasty throat/cold type infection and am off work today. Lost my voice too, although I am "squeaking" a little now! Achey arms and legs are a bit better aswell, but everything is just soooooooo much effort

Anyways, all have a good day, Yola, get some shuteye, you need it!
Dawn.

Morning Yola, Morning Dawn, I hope you both get sleep and rest during the day.

Looks like another nice day here, bit chilly at the mo though.

School run and work for me x

Re: Monday's Thread

"The hottest September day since 1949" ? Maybe - I think that is particularly the south-easy but it may spread here. Phew. I will pick some tiny green tomatoes and start the recipe for pickled which I posted yesterday. Then tidy up before the OH returns (whoever thought it a good idea for him to be on a transatlantic plane on 9/11? ) Bit of shopping, walk with Dinah and that's about it as far as plans go. Maybe a bit of sun-basking, if the forecast is right.

Hope you're having a nice nap right now Yola, and hope you improve as the day progresses Dawn - it usually works that way. Thinking of you too, Sweet.

Gorgeous day here. The boys are outside enjoying the sunshine, I've been into town to get a curtain pattern to make the curtains for my livingroom and I just fell in love with a pattern for kiddies chairs so bought that aswell

Re: Monday's Thread

It is supposedly 27 degrees here.....and it is beautiful!!

Have been into town this morning and it really was sticky there....and you could smell the pollution of traffic fumes

Yola ~ I hope Sebastian is being a good boy and allowing you to catch up on your much needed sleep.

Dawn ~ I hope you'll start to feel better soon, there's nothing worse than a cold/infection on a hot stuffy day

DM ~ Please let us know later that your OH has got home safely.

He's just taken off Mags - 36 minutes late but I'm quite pleased to know that he is actually in the air and on his way back. Think he'll get into Heathrow about 11pm, unless they have a huge jet-stream giving them a push.
I'll be interested to know how full the plane was (it's American Airlines) and just how spooked people are by the date
