the rain is on its way..thunder a rumbling, lightning struck, a few drops of rain and its just getting LURVLEY. Anyone else got/getting some saner weather too?

It's been pouring for a couple of hours now . . . occasional distant rumbles of thunder. It's still humid but when the wind blows if provides welcome coolness. Hubby's happy coz he can take a break from bricklaying and I'm happy coz I won't have to water the garden  |

The sky here is awfully dark Luke and I've felt the odd spot of rain too. I think a storm is on its way!!   |

I just had a bit of a downpour for about half an hour or so today. No storms unfortunately. |

It was only spitting here for like 5 mins before! Clouded over, but bright now. |

Everywhere is wet (as i explained on the other thread why we get the rain so terriblly!), the sky is blue, very warm, but damp! |

hahahaha don't talk to me about rain!!! We had our car show Saturday and Sunday, Saturday we were all sitting there watching the clouds come over (we have a large marquee 3 metres x 9 metres) and watching the lightning, so I pop to the toilets which was opposite our pitch, come back ( I had only been gone a minute) and 8 of our members where holding onto the marquee as it has tried to take off!!! we were trying to hold it for about 15 mins in the torrential rain, in the end we gave up and collapsed it down but it had damaged it quite badly. (we did use it again on Sunday but we have thrown it out) scary at the time but quite funny now looking back Quite a few car clubs had their marquees ruined |
