Which insurance company to use?

Hello - another irritating question from me!!!

Do any of you have some recommendations for good insurance companies to try. I know from insuring my horse there are the great, the OK and the don't touch with a barge pole varieties - I guess it's the same with cats.

If you have any don't touch with a barge pole stories and don't want to post them here (liable and all that) please PM me as I'd like to know.

Many thanks

Olivia

Try one of these links:

I'm sure not much has changed.

Thanks for those links - it was very interesting and useful reading.

The two best I've found for value and cover have been Marks and Spencer and NFU Mutual.

NFU are slightly more expensive, but I've got my house and horse insured with them, and I know they are excellent. I'm very tempted to go with them as they are proven in my mind, where as M&S is a bit of a jump in the dark.

I value the "proven to work under stress" as well, so if the NFU insurance does everything you need it to do for cats as well, go with that one. At least you know you won't be ignored/cheated/obstructed when you need them.
