Hi Mags,

The workshop is 15-17 May not long now, no doubt I will be panicking the week before as I have a lot to get prepared, including some photos I want to draw from!!! arrgghh I am really looking forward to it, although still waiting for some pastel paper to turn up!

I will update my section with any drawings I do

Re: EmmaG

hmmm not too sure about that Mags!!! lol

Here is a thread on Wetcanvas which shows a picture a student work during one of the Dianna's pastel courses, if one of my paintings comes out half as good as this I will be happy.

Re: EmmaG

Those are done in pastels??????????? That's truly amazing . . . I could never hope to acheive anything like that - almost photo-realism

Re: EmmaG

Yola that is just a student!! Dianna's website is www.ponting.com her work is amazing and I would say some of it is photo-realism, I find it amazing that she gets pastels to almost look like a painting and not chalky at all. The workshop is going to be fun!!! if a little messy!! lol
