Please send positive vibes to Mollie!!

Most of you will know Mollie has hip displaysia and spondylosis in her spine.....Since being diagnosed 3 years ago she has been fine, reviewed every 3 months there has not been any progression...This past week she has changed, got a bit grumpy, and lethargic, not evem interested in a new toy...
Had her at the vets yesterday, she has inflamation at the base of her spine.she has been put on Metacam for 2 weeks to see if it settles down again....I am now worrying it is progression of the spondylosis...Please send her good vibes....and fingers crossed this will settle down again...

I noticed your posting on DW Moli and was concerned to hear your baby hasn't been well. Hope it settles - Metacam is wonderful!
(Have you thought of a magnetic collar or anything along those lines? Can't hurt - might help)

Re: Please send positive vibes to Mollie!!

My old vet (in Cheltenham) used to do one surgery a week with a (human) osteopath. Heard so many good stories about the results.
Bit too far for you though, sadly.
Metacam works very quickly - hope it's the right drug for her.

I am just getting myself all worked up, I know her condition is not treatable, and it will progress in time, she is on cosequin and cd liver oil had been for the past 3 years...
Need one of you to tell me to stop being silly, she is going to be ok!!!
