And so the chapter closes...Just to say this morning at 10:15 we buried great-great aunty avril...it was a very moving ceremony..far too many people all there to say goodbye. T'was dignified to say the least-anyway just wanted to let you all know and say thanks for being there recentlly...

Thankyou both..it was a very moving ceremony as we were all seated in accordance to generation..and it was the first time everyone had been together in many many years..her children are all pensioners themselves now (well into late sixties to mid seventies) so they felt gifted to be with their mother for all these years. As g-g aunty avril kept telling me as she lay there on her last day..the beyond is nowt to fear and merely the next ride! |

Glad it's a difficult day that's over Luke. Funerals - even when celebratory, are sad affairs. I'm pleased everyone was there to give your GG Aunt a marvellous send off. |
