Re: Daily Shred/Thursday...

Grey, wet and grim here today. Just another day in the office. Yesterday hubby collected Dominink from school but his plan was scuppered as he didn't have keys to get into the house. They had to come all the way back here to the office; Domi wowed all the staff who had never met him and hubby acted as if it was MY fault that he didn't have his keys. WHAT is it with blokes????

Re: Daily Shred/Thursday...

Yola - it's the male chromosomes - they can't help it. The losing of keys at regular intervals is def a male thing. Drives me scatty and if I had a fiver for every time I've said, in perplexed tone, 'but why don't you put them in the same place every time?', I'd be really quite well off!

Coolish and dullish here, although the sun tries weakly every now and then. Lots of rain in the night, so I'm off to the allotment but just to tidy the path and sow some flower seeds in trays in the polytunnel. See you later.

Edit: so much for my weather observation - it's pouring!

Morning all (just!).......cloudy but very mild here.
Have been invited to our granddaughter's school today to have a look round and see how they are progressing. Katie (5) will show us round and will offer us biscuits which she baked in school yesterday (awwww!). She is so excited that her nanny and grandpa are coming to her school!!

Re: Daily Shred/Thursday...

Hello all!

Today is Matt's birthday, and tonight we're going out to the pub to drink with all of our nearby friends I got him some erm... personal stuff () and a lot of stuff for the kittens, including collars for Ninja and the kittens, from Emm, some extra bowls for their dry food and a soft snuggly basket with a pillow and a blanket.

I also need to pack up my small child and go to the school he's going to be going to next year, to accept the space they've allocated to him. And I need to go to my neighbour's, because she's also a catlady and I'd like to find out more about the white cat with the ginger tail who's been coming into our house.

Busy busy busy! But in the meantime, I'm happily spodding

Re: Daily Shred/Thursday...

Haven't long been back from our school visit....it was so sweet to have Katie show us around, made her appear quite grown up! The children brought round school-made biscuits and orange squash on a tray to us, then proceeded to ask us questions about our schoodays. The afternoon ended with some lovely songs and poems.
It was a really enjoyable couple of hours!

Evening everyone,

Nothing much to say about today really. Work, home, dinner done etc. Been buying a few bits and pieces for my daughter's birthday, but thats about it!
