Quiet morning mystery solved.

I now understand why there's no-one here early in the morning. Just me a EIGHTEEN spiders. Good thing I'm an arachnophile.

Re: Quiet morning mystery solved.

Oh, I'm one of the rare and disgusting breed that bounces out of bed at the crack of dawn. Rover's not too bothered, means he gets a nice dark walk and an early breakfast. He's had two walks this morning (going in to work a few hours later than usual) and now he's hunting for hidden chicken, so spoiled more than usual. What's your excuse? Hungry horses? The inspection?

"Eerie" is just the right word for it!

My 'excuse' is a hungry puppy

That clashes with your signature. Nice to know all your pets have staff.

Spiders?

Confusion is likely to be because I am so not a morning person (but would like to be!)

Some like to approach the morning from the night before, some like to start the day with the morning. Funny how you tend to be the opposite from your partner, or so I've found.

Quick-link -> Who's on
gives the people here and a generous helping of web-spiders, if you were wondering why I was suddenly seeing spiders. Much better to see spots, I suppose.

Ahh, I understand now. Very strange. What do web spiders do? Why are they here? Okay, I don't really understand at all!

Re: Quiet morning mystery solved.

Bringing you brain to work? What ever for?? Much safer at home with the cat(s)!

I *think* the spiders are bits of computer-programs (called bots - from "robot" I imagine) that get sent out to sift through the contents of web-sites for search-engines etc. (Indexing)
So if you google for "box" you'd get a results-page with the boxed cats from this site amongst a whole lot of other things (and a multitude of x-rated ones) because the spiders have found the threads from here (and sites from everywhere) with "box" in them.
