Daily thread - Saturday

Morning.
Nice & sunny here, although I still feel really poorly. Heavy head / cold.
Very quiet here without the family around. Hope to get lots of jobs done today & going to take the dogs (my dog & my sisters spaniel who just "appeared" for the weekend) for a nice walk once I've seen to all the other animals.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,

Bright sunshine this morning. Hope the temperature is as good as it looks. On my own today so nothing other than tidying up the house and maybe some shopping are in order.

Have a good day.

Not a lot happening here. Went out early to get a bit of grocery shopping and missed the postman, so had to go off to the sorting office to pick up a fab 'hand tied boquet' which katie sent me. Lovely.
Hope everyone has a good day.

My little guy's still ill, and I hurt my back crawling around cleaning up vomit yesterday. So he's got a little nest in the lounge, where he's currently sleeping, and I'm just hoping he'll make it to the basin next time he throws up.

Re: Daily thread - Saturday

oh Snoof - I hope you're little fella's OK. There's signs up all over Dominik's school saying if your child's vomitting to keep them at home. I guess it's something that's going around

Today started off bright, and is now cloudy with some intermittent rain. Bought some Polish deli bits, some more black preggie wear clothes and some DVDs - Brothers Grimm, Taste of Honey and a 60s tv production which presented the scenario of Britian NOT preventing the Nazis from invading/occupying. It was banned at the time for being to subversive, but is now available so we thought we'd get it!

Off now to watch tv and help Dominik play with his new Noddy jigsaw puzzle. That child is happily doing puzzles suitable for 5 year olds (he's 2 1/2!!) . . . scary
