Recommendations for a nice restaurant in London

Me and the OH are thinking of going to london in a couple of weeks time, we are going to go on the London eye and thought about having dinner afterwards. Can anybody recommend a nice restaurant near the London eye??

Re: Recommendations for a nice restaurant in London

There is the Conran ones on the river at Shad Thames. It's a short cab ride but worth it as it takes you just under the Tower of London. Le Pont De La Tour has a 'posh' bit but also a bar and grill which serves the most amazing food . . . if it's warm you can sit outside and watch the boats glide by. I've been there 3 or 4 times and it's never disappointed.

Re: Recommendations for a nice restaurant in London

dont see the fascination in the eye. went past it on the train once and thought it looks a bit daft where they put it.

I did go on the one at navy pier in chicago, but that's out on a dock on the lake and you can see the skyline of chicago's lakeshore view.

I am afraid of heights though, so was barely peeking out of one eye lol.

I must admit CJ it isn't really my cup of tea but the OH wants to go on it and it will be an experience
