Hello everyone.

My name is Julie and my kitten is Violet, she is a Tortoiseshell.

I found this site via another forum, and have been browsing for a couple of weeks, decided to join today after plucking up courage .

I read somewhere on here today, that Tortoiseshell's can only be female......I didnt know this, took Violet to the Vets this evening, she had her big girly operation last Wednesday for a check up and when I asked the nurse, yep its true - I have learnt something today .

Anyhow, I will aim to put a pic up soon, and would love to know how to add a pic next to my name as well.

Any help appreciated, I am hopeless with computers - LOL .

maybe a little crazy but gently crazy

I am Karen "Hello" and have a female cat also spayed but that was many, many years ago she is a ginger and white female called Cleo and she is 23 years old.

Yes Violet is my first cat, she was only very small and 4 weeks old when we had her, the Vet wasnt sure she would make it. Thank God she did!!! I wouldnt be without her now....
