A very special drawing - Mitten

I contacted Kelly (Smudgley) asking her if she wanted me to draw a picture of Mitten after she past away a couple of weeks ago, she agreed and here is the drawing I did.

Kelly told me she received the drawing and is very pleased with it.

Thanks Fran, yes she is very pleased with it, I must admit it was a bit emotional for me drawing her.

Thanks guys, it really wasn't a problem, Kelly previously asked me to do some drawings of her cats, to which of course I agreed, but this time she just jumped the que a bit, but I thought under the circumstances nobody would mind.

Emma that was such a kind thing for you to do, I'm sure it has helped Smudgley cope better too. It is a brilliant drawing!

Re: A very special drawing - Mitten

Hi - I've not been on here for ages.
I was going to start a thread about Emmas drawing of Mitten.
I'm sure most of you know that she was killed in a RTA on Friday 21st Oct. Emma very kindly offered to do a drawing of her, I e-mailed her a photo & she said she would start the picture on Sunday 23rd Oct. It was done, packaged up beautifully & delivered within days. But as we had decided to go away for a few days we were not here when the postman tried to deliver it. We went straight to collect it today & are so pleased with it. I just can't thank Emma enough. It is perfect. It means such a lot to us, we are going to get it framed & have it in the lounge. As you all know I am very involved in Stourbridge & District Cats protection & everyone within the branch works voluntary - meaning every penny of every donation goes straight to the health & welfare of the cats in our care. I am going to make a donation to the charity for Emmas picture.

Take care all & hopefully I'll be back soon to catch up on all the posts, just don't have much time for my PC at present.

Smudgley. x
