Re: Daily Thread / Monday

Here I am, evening all. Same old same old sadly. Work is work and the muppets i work with and for are still muppets
Interviewing for new staff on wednesday. Annual visit from owners on Monday. The place has to be up to scratch which it never is coz even if I go in to help on my day off, they will still find something to complain about. Oh well, such is life at Acorn.
Am on the final unit of my pet sitters cert' and have really enjoyed it tbh even if I did stress over the business plan that Yola helped me loads with. I certainly feel that I have learned from it.
Thinking of doing another course after new year on fish keeping. Every one does cats/dogs so am trying to fill in the gaps by learning more about fish and birds. I may even at some point down the line do reptiles but have a few fears to over come for that one.
Any way thats my dull and uninteresting life to date.
Hope every one has had a good day and are having a pleasant evening.

Well, there is a woman who runs a shop called reptiles in the green here. She is involved in recue, I know this coz she uses the same vets as me. I have heard mixed reports though about the care the animals receive in her shop but have been toying with the idea of talking with her about it. Cannt do any harm and I would see first hand for myself rather than listen to hear say.
The big thing for me is I have a phobia of snakes, well actually not just snakes, anything sort of worm like. The Kuli loaches at work really freak me out that since I took over the fish ordering, I wont order them in. We still have two in the barb tank and I tell you, when those ******s surface, I run a mile
