Re: Friendship and companionship

This is a warm, loving and non-judgemental place where truth is spoken, advice dispensed and friendships cemented.

It doesn't matter to me that they're 'on-line' friendships as these are as real as 'real' friends . . . sometimes even more so (well, to me anyway)!!

I would like to echo what everyone has said and I'd like to think that what we have here is special and regardless of how big Catsey might grow in the future, that specialness will be maintained, protected and cherished.

A genuine [[[[[big hugs]]]]] to all of you

What a lovely, genuine warm thread to come out of something so sad. I appreciate you all too and for me it is all too easy to take each other for granted.

Re: Friendship and companionship

I never get the chance to post as much as I would like - but I read the posts at every chance I get. Everybody is always warm and kind with me even though I don't contribute as much - and that means a lot.

I'm still feeling really shocked at the loss of SB and it has made me realise how much dogsey and catsey are such a big part of my life.

Re: Friendship and companionship

I have only just had chance to read this - I dont post as often as I should, but with all the forums I use, I have made some good friendships, even if I will never see them, and this has made me think a lot.

Re: Friendship and companionship

The sad news this week has made me realise just how important it is to cherish friendship....You never know what is round the next corner...We are all different on here, yet we all are there for each other....I for 1 am grateful to be part of such a lovely friendly board, and you lot have become such good friends...

Re: Friendship and companionship

We do take a lot for granted in life but when you hear of the sorrow in peoples hearts for the loss of such a popular, loved member like Shadowboxer was on Dogsey, it really makes you stop and think. In my eyes, nothing can top the value of good friendships......and we have that here on Catsey.

We should spare a thought for Az too, he has lost someone on Dogsey who he had great admiration for, who gave him support throughout. He is suffering hard and I would like him to know that we are all thinking of him and feeling his pain.
Let's strive together to make this a forum that Az can feel proud of!

Big hugs to Az and all of you!
