Re: im back.. again!

well he'll be ready in the middle of february, was born november 15th.

shes asked me what name i would like for him, and what pedigree name.

ive no experience of choosing pedigree names, does it need to coincide with what name i want to call him?

???????????

Don't think so. I think the pedigree name is just one of those fancy things for the paperwork in case you breed him, but not awfully sure! I think you need Fran or Moli for checking that. Have you picked a 'normal' name for him yet?

Re: im back.. again!

not picked a name yet. altho ive emailed the breeder regarding the whole name thing.
i'll let her pick the ped name if it doesnt need to coincide with his name.
she has suggested Wiccas Harvest Moon, and harvey for short. which is why i wondered if the name had to coincide or not?

Nah, As far as I know Wiccas is her cat fancy thingie name and that goes in front of every cat she breeds, and probably her other kittens have had similar names. You can call him whatever you like, have fun choosing!

The pedigree name doesn't need to be anything to do with his pet name. You are quite welcome to call him whatever you want despite what the breeder chooses for his 'posh name'
