We were walking in the park yesterday and the boys were running through the fallen leaves and the beauty of the scene just took my breath away . . . nothing special but lovely!!!
It is odd how our inclinations change with age, isn't it? As a child I didn't mind cold weather and snow at all; but the older I've gotten (pretty old!!) the more I dislike it. I'll admit that Autumn is lovely with the foliage, and snow scenes can be breathtakingly lovely, but I'll still take an August day....
