I just avoided eye contact! They coped with no supper, because we just hurtled up to bed and put out the light and the radio, but were obviously ready for their brekkies this morning! I didn't get up till late and just did bustling about stuff till it was time to box them and take them!
12.30 now. 90 minutes till I phone and hopefully collect
The house is so quiet. Dinah has done umpteen circuits of downstairs looking for them, and is listening for 'gallop noises' from upstairs.

Aren't we soft!

Pity I'm not keen on golf - I could watch the Ryder Cup to pass the time........
Only 30 minutes now. I hope.

Re: Last supper!

They're home & fine. Bentley is his usual chipper self, Chester maybe a little quiet.
Anyway, they've had a little mouthful of boiled fish and I've left them in my bedroom to have a sleep.

PS - they reckon the service at the vets is lousy .... they were promised chop & chips and for all the fun they've had they might just as well have had a kick in the *****.
