Re: wednesday

evening Shelley and Kazz

Sounds like you had a lovely day shelley
Kazz, hope the knee is holding out and you get word for the op soon

The training is getting there shelley, we focised tonight on our walk, getting barney to walk beside us and he did really well as he wouldnt do it for us a week ago, we are toying with scrapping the recall training and focusing on lead walking with just the freedom on the extendable lead when he behaves. If we can get him to permanently behave the way he did tonight we would be happy

Re: wednesday

Evening all ....... just keep at it with Barney Pamela. Consistent and encouraging. It's the one thing that (so far) Dora has been excellent at, recall. The other thing to practice (if you want) is a down stay ..... if you can get your dog to go down and stay there, it can help in all sorts of situations.

All well here. My neighbour bought us some freshly dug beetroot from her garden today, so I'm looking at HFW's veggie book for ideas. I'll let you know how I get on!

Sleep well folks.
