Poppet's Owner's New Cat

I've heard from my brother it's this cat that she's adopted (yesterday).

Here's the write up from the website (don't know this particular cat so going by the write up on the rescue's website)

Petal

"Age: 4/5 years
Sex: Female
Colour: Grey tabby
Date Cat arrived: July 2010

Petal came to us after her owners left her behind, all alone. Petal tried to find her own new home at an elderly care home but they were not allowed to keep pets.

Petal is a really affectionate and loving girl. She is finding the homing centre environment stressful as she does not like other cats. Petal really deserves another loving and secure home where her owner will not abandon her again.

Awww, what a sweet-faced little cat; hope she'll be happy and spoiled rotten by Poppet's owner. Thanks for telling us.

So glad that lovely Petal is going to a good home. I hope she settles in well.

We will have to refer to Poppet's owner as Petal's owner now.

Re: Poppet's Owner's New Cat

My brother told me wrong

I got a letter from Poppet's owner, telling me what happened to Poppet and introducing her new cat.

I'll post about Poppet on another thread.

Poppet's owner went into the rescue a few times and basically she decided on a dark tortoiseshell 1 year old called Berry, though she's going to be changing Berry's name (don't know what to though)

Although I am happy for Berry, I am sad for Petal.

Same here, poor Petal; could she not take both?

I am also very sorry for petal. she so seemed to need a home. Though I guess the same will be true for berry.
