A big day, today, for Mr Tomsk.

We have shut Mr Tomsk out of his room today so that he has to start joining the family. The door has been open between him and the rest of the cats for 2 weeks now, so we decided that he could become a fully fledged family member. He's not terribly keen but has found an empty chair to call bed, although he joined us on bed a couple of times last night. It has been surprisingly settled although I think he will have to be shut in his room at tea time until he is fully integrated. Still I'm really chuffed it has gone so well, we've had a couple of scraps over the last fortnight, but nothing nasty and no bites.

I'm sure it'll continue to go well. It'll be like a new house for him so he'll take a bit to get used to it.

Good luck.

Sounds as if it's going pretty well. A big change for him, isn't it?

Its a massive change for him, as far as I am aware. He has been very clean so far, although I wouldn't be surprised if there is a bit of unwelcome spraying over the next few days. He is obviously confused but likes the fact that he has a warm bed and an easy food supply.
