Power outage, aaargh!!!The whole neighborhood lost power in the t'storms today, just at 2:30 when I was about to log on! And not back till after 8 pm! No proper dinner and not even able to boil water for my tea! Bah!

Sat on the porch reading a very dull issue of Time magazine (too much about soccer and the upcoming World Cup which I'm not remotely interested in), grumbled with my next door neighbor about the power loss, made two calls to the power company who kept advancing the repair completion time, tried to get Leia to play but she was not in the mood. It was drizzling so couldn't go in the garden, fill the feeder or get grass for herself. A thoroughly unproductive time!  |

I'd planned a lovely shrimp creole for dinner, but with no electricity, ended up making shrimp salad (shrimp were cooked) and crisps. No tea, no chocolate chip cookie with it! Double Bah! |
