Kumfy Kradle radiator bed anyone?

Im thinking of getting the boys a kumfy kradle from vetuk

http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?mai... ucts_id=2603

and wondered if anyone here has one, and if so do you recommend it? My main question would be how the fleece part attaches to the frame?

I have 2 cheap radiator beds that annoy the hell out of me because they dont attach to the frame in any way and just end up eventually slipping off-with cat still in! so i want to get a bed that has a cover that fits onto the frame properly with some velcro or a zip or something to stop the cover coming off-does that make sense?

would love your opinions!

Doesn't that look cosy? As I read it, the frame slots between a double radiator, so should be nice and stable, but it doesn't actually say how the cover fits the frame which is a shame really. I would expect it fits like an envelope with a tuck over which I would hope is deep enough.

I hope someone else has one and can enlighten you JB!

Sorry, never used one; all mine preferred to sleep on the radiator cover. Good luck.

I have a really good one where the fleece cover is VERY stable!!

Abi was recently sick on the cover and it was a real sod to get the cover off to put it in the machine! I had to take screws out!!!!

I'll see if it has a name on it anywhere..........

Hiya,

here's a link to the one I have which is very study. It's from Pets at Home. It doesn't have great reviews on there, but people only seem to bother reviewing when they want to complain!! Lol!!

I've submitted my own review... I accept that it's not the easiest to assemble but that just shows how solid it is once assembled! The cover is pretty much screwed on, so won't sag or move.

My cats think it's fab, and it's strong enough for two!
