Snow monitoring...how much did you have?

I know there have been snow threads - but thought we could get a snap shot of what everyone had.

Monday 2nd - was a good few inches thick here.
Tuesday 3rd- we had more snow, but it didnt hang around long.
Thursday 5th- a lot more came down & traffic around here was bad as some of the roads were awful.
No more since then for us....

What about where you live?

Pretty much same as you.....as we don't live to far away.
Monday 2nd - was a good few inches thick here.
Tuesday 3rd- we had more snow, about 4-5 inches stayed all day till the evening.
Thursday 5th- a lot more came down & traffic around here was bad as some of the roads were awful.
Friday again about 3-4 inches but this ombined with Thursdays has stayed on lots of footpaths and is now ice...hope it does not snow again till it rains or thaws.

Here in the south west........

Monday - a couple of inches of snow fell but it quickly thawed throughout the day..
Tuesday - more snow and turning icy.
Wednesday - no snow during the day..
Thursday - heavy fall of snow during the night which brought most services to a standstill here. Schools closed, no public transport, airport closed, many roads impassable..
Friday - another heavy fall during the night, pavements icy, cars skidding on untreated roads.
Saturday - the thaw has started but it's still very cold here.

Roll on summer!!

Re: Snow monitoring...how much did you have?

Looking at the weather forcast looks like snow/ice again tonight in the North.
Then in the South/Midlands heavy snow/heavy flooding rains even blizzards on Monday getting worse as the day progresses; culminating on Monday PM ie rush hour....
Getting slightly better for Tues then Wed snow showers again.....South, Midlands and Wales being worst hit again....
So today looks like a bit of a take a break day...
