Myxomatosis warning!

just thought i'd post a warning for all the rabbit owners.
we have had an outbreak of myxomatosis, it seems to be an very aggressive strain, i am also on a rabbit forum and there are new reports of rabbits catching it on there every day.
so, if you have a rabbit please get it vaccinated, if you are in a high risk area they should be vaccinated 6 monthly. remember, it isn't only spread by direct contact, it is also passed by fleas, mites, lice and midges.

We have had a few cases at the practice recently-one of which was an indoor bunny

All mine are vaccinated.. the last one today as she was not done at the rescue.... I know the vaccine is not working properly until 14 days so still rather worried she is not as protected as she could be..
