Good news story...

What a lovely good news story...shows how people really benefit from contact with pets/animals.....and an excellent idea too in my opinion. And a great news story for greyhounds.....Kim take note..........

When you think of all the elderly lonely people there are, a dog like that can make so much difference to their lives. It will give them the sense of looking forward to when they will see the four legged friend again, instead of dwelling on times gone by all the time.

Re: Good news story...

I think that's a lovely story too! Well done to the people who run the home who have adopted the greyhound and given their residents the opportunity to have a dog around the place. Too often I have heard stories about people who have to find homes for their pets as they are not allowed to take them to residential care homes.

Such a lovely story, thanks for posting Kazz. My greyhound, Daisy (sadly now at the bridge) was a PAT (pets as Therapy) dog. Greys really are the most gentle, placid dogs as this article proves!! We need more positive stories like this.
