Senior Food I have just noticed I have bought senior food by mistake.....Denis is only 4 would it matter if he has already eaten two sachets????

Don't know, but wouldn't think it would do him any harm - he's a brave cat to eat it! Merlin was on it for a while, but found it so hard in texture and now had ordinary adult food. Seems to agree with him. |

I can't see how it might be bad for him, it probably has a different mixture of ingredients etc. geared more for a senior cat's dietary needs.. If it bothers you, rather than waste it why not just mix a bit of it in with what he usually eats till it's used up? |

Dont worry BC, he'll be fine. It wont do him any harm, most senior foods are lower in protein and phospherous but many are not considerably lower. A problem would only arise if he were fed senior foods on a regular basis. As Eileen says, dont waste it, just mix it with his normal foods or give it to him occasionally until its used up. |
