i think sometimes when you don't see or hear much about something you just aren't sure and then you get used to it and develop an opinion..this is WHY i love sharing pix!

One of my favourite animals!!

Hey Tink, is the white ferret an albino or a true ferret, or other? (To my knowledge a true ferret is, like.. White but with more beige-y, kind of dirty looking blotches.)

He is a dark eyed white since he doesn't have red eyes. He is coming in with a very subtle marking of gray on his tail and has some gray guard hairs so his technical name is a "marked dark eyed white". he is deaf (waardenburg's syndrome is very common with ferrets in the states) and is a big boy because he was bred by real canadian (theory is they are healthier).

Re: ahh..a nice post.

I think they are funny animals. I once was coming home and i thought i had seen a cat under a car tooted to it and out pas a ferret, it had escaped from its cage. I then tried to go in my house but it followed i dumped my shopping and shut myself in the living room while somebody got it out.
