Bunny and Chooks! (pic heavy)

Seeing as there seemed to be a bit of a theme running round Catsey this weekend , I thought I should finally get some piccies of my Minstrel. Of course, the chooks just had to get in on the act too Mind you, they were a great help to me with my weeding, ate all the slugs and beasties that appeared and turned over my soil for me too.

This is minstrel trying to help with the weeding, with Hermione supervising

It all got too much

Hilary looking for some tasty treats

and wandering around the garden

Beside OH's little pond, all 3 of them love to sit on the big rock and drink out of it

and to finish off, some of the colour in my garden

Hope you like

Wow Alex, your chooks are looking fantastic. Your bunny is cute too.
That is a little pond, are there any fish in it?

Re: Bunny and Chooks! (pic heavy)

Thanks Smudgley

There are a couple of little sticklebacks in it that the kids got when we went pond dipping. And we are getting some tadpoles from the school in two weeks before they close for summer. But as he hasn't got anywhere to plug a pump into yet, he can't have goldfish in it. But that is the plan eventually. Just a few of them for some colour.

Thanks elaine. He's loving having the chooks to run about with lol. When the 3 of them come running to me to see if I have any treats, he comes bounding up with them as well, to see what I have for him.

Great pics Alex, it's so nice to see the bunny and the chooks enjoying freedom instead of being cooped up in cages..

You've done wonders with your garden, those flowers are stunning!

What lovely pictures! think either the bunnie thinks he is a chook, or the chooks think they are bunnies...

Re: Bunny and Chooks! (pic heavy)

aww thanks Mags. I am quite proud of it these days. I do love sitting on my little stool pulling out those weeds lol!! My girls and my bunny just love having the freedom of the garden. They were out and about for the 4 hours I was in the garden weeding. And the girls must be happy as I'm getting 3 eggs a day woo hoo!
