My finger's bleeding

I was helping my brother lift heavy blocks to get them across the garden and to the front, where we were going to put them and one of the blocks we were carrying caught my finger and gashed it open.

It's got a plaster on it now and hopefully it will have stopped bleeding by tomorrow.

I know one thing: gashing your finger on a heavy stone block hurts!

The wound looks really bad! I am NOT going to post a picture - it's not in a very good way!

If it's still bleeding tomorrow then I'll go.

Hopefully it will have stopped then - I've got something on in the afternoon!

It stopped for a few minutes about six o clock, but the plaster needed changing, so I changed it and it started again.

Just a little bit though.

Have you had a tetanus shot recently? Not to be an alarmist, but it is a soil borne organism.....

No I don't think I have!

I didn't actually get any dirt on the wound though - it's not bleeding now but it still hurts every time I take the plaster off. Keeping the plaster on for now until it's healed a bit more.

Make sure you don't get an infection though - won't you?
