Hiya all :)

Hi I'm Sam

I've come over from Dogsey to give my black tom cat a look in lol!

I have 3 dogs and Toby.

I don't really know how old he is as I had him given by a lady across the road as her older tom cat was bullyin him although I think he's around 6 months.

He is really small though for a tom???

i'l post some piccis of him soon xXx

Re: Hiya all :)

Hi Sam, if he is only 6 month old he will be small still, my boys didn't finish growing 'til 12-18 months. My Tucker is a big lad and he is 2, Colin my other boy will be one next week and at the moment he's just a wee bit shorter than Tucker at the shoulder but his head and body haven't yet fully matured, I expect in another 6 months he will be at least the same, if not bigger than Tucker. You may find he has a spurt around 8 months. It varies from breed to breed but not as diverse as dogs, however I have found my mogs to be quite slow in reaching their full size in comparison to my siamese and in particular, the boys. The girls were more or less their full adult weight and size by about 8 months(ish, they were all different but certainly all had by 12 months).

Hope this helps.

Welcome, Sam and Toby to the sister site; we're smaller but very friendly here! Look forward to chatting and seeing pics. Has Toby been neutered yet; he may get bigger after that.....
