Has Spring sprung? - or is it a false dawn?

12C and beautiful this afternoon. I've managed to sort out my front border. It's only tiny but it gets so rampant!
It's gorgeous - I've even got the back door open and it's so nice to smell freshness through the house. Probably chilly tonight though

Some flowers.

Very pretty! It's bright and sunny (and warm) here too. We have the door open in the office

I think we and our plants are being lulled into a false sense of security . . . frost, hail, snow and howling gales await us in February

It would be nice to think Spring is here but I'm not entirely sure about that! It certainly isn't as warm 'up north' Your planter certainly looks very pretty, what a cheery sight

You're probably right Yola! All the more reason to enjoy it now. We've just had our cuppa outside, Dinah has a blankie out to lie against the wall ..... oh, and Andy has been out in the Saab - top down!

That first trip of the year with the hood down . . . nothing's better, especially when the air's still got a bit of a nip to it; lucky him!!! As soon as the boys are old enough I would really love another soft top

It did me good to see those lovely flower pics! Months away here, I fear...we have a chance of snow flurries this afternoon! Normally my hellebores, mahonia and winter jasmine would be in bloom by now, but not this season!
Enjoy while it lasts!
