Honey is stuck on the roof.

The potting shed roof.. XD

I have no idea how he got up there, but he can't get down. He tried to get down via a diagonal beam of wood, but ended up panicking and getting back onto the roof again. He won't come in via the bedroom window by the roof, because he'd rather try to play with my hand than jump onto the window sill.

So, I've left him there. XD If he can get up there, he can come back down again. (Tiger used to do the same thing, only I used to rescue her through the window.)

Yesterday he managed to attack one of my gerbils when he snuck into my bedroom by pushing the door open, and he ripped her leg out - so my poor Shamrock had to be put to sleep by the emergency vet.

So this, I think, is karma.

Re: Honey is stuck on the roof.

I figured it out! XD Luckily Honey thinks only with his stomach and his desire to chase anything that moves (usually my feet), so I used that to bring him down.

I threw little cat treats at the wall just below him, making him go mad trying to catch them - so finally after much meowing, crying, pacing and looking distraught - he flew off of the corner of the roof and immediately went hunting for treats. X3

And, of course, I took some photos whilst laughing at poor tiny Honey.

I am sorry to here about your gerbil too. Kado is just the same and climbs on the roof of my friends bungalow and just sits there watching the birds. He also gets on other roofs and get rescued by another neighbour.

I consider it that I'm starting to understand how he thinks, and that worries me. XD He's such an odd little thing.

But yes, definitely karma after the gerbil incident, I think.
