Introducing Sasha the dog & my ratties

As well as being owned by 2 cats & now 4 kittens I thought I'd post some pics of my dog Sasha, a GSD + Malinois & my 14 pet rats.

Firstly Sasha who is a lovely natured dog who loves all of our pets. She is approx 5yrs old & loved by all who meet her.

Now my ratties, all 14 of them aged ranged from 32mths to 4mths old. they are a squishie group of boys living together in a big cage ...they never bite chase the cats & are loved by Sasha.

like this piccie of them all in a hammock together...8 of them

Up to no good with an Advent Calender...note my Black Hoodie Sardines...

Pip the Black Mismarked Capped & Squeak the Champagne Berkshire the evening I brouight them home.

Salazaar a Black rattie when we got him

Three Himmies (Himalyan markings...simular to a Himalyan cats)

2 of my Russian Blue Dumbo's, Stitch & Scratch...have another 2 younger than these.

George the Rex Agouti Hooded kissing Mummy

Zippy, Agouti Hooded (no longer with us sadly) & Bungle the Black boy...my 2 oldies at 31mths old.

Angel & Spike my 4mth old Dumbo Russian Blues the day I got them.

Last but not least my latest boy Odin, a rattie who had been illtreated, kept on his own in a small cage & was terrified of other rats, took a week to get him to meet another rat without fighting...now this is what he's like....in only 3 weeks

Hope you enjoy these piccies & I've not bored you...think you've met them all now.

chris xx

You have a lovely dog and she looks great in a snowy setting!

I must admit I'm not a lover of rats, they give me the shivers so I'll just say they are cute .......and I couldn't touch one!!

Oh I'm so in love Chris!!! They are all gorgeous, I'm a huge rat fan and have kept rats for the last 15 years. My last one died a few months back and I have decided to have a break from keeping them. Do miss having the little blighters about though!

Glad you like them, they do make brill pets, you can be "Aunty" to mine if you want alexgirl173.

Mags, sorry to hear rats give you the shivers, i thought like that at one time...didn't like the tails...but honest they're much friendlier than Hamsters, one of my "Himmies" Smudge, the big guy on the loo seat knows when I need a cuddle...he's my heart rat..you'll understand what I mean alexgirl173?

I LOVE your dog!!I has a shephard when My son's were younger. She was a rescue and what a brilliant girl she was.
Your rats are interesting. I dont dislike them but I must admit I think they are about the only pet I haven't had .
Nice to meet your family.

Yes I adore my Rexie boy George, their coats are so warm arn't they? I'm getting a Dumbo Rex Siamese rat on Saturday, he's a big squishie already at 12 weeks old.
