Pousse a bit poorlyPoor old Pousse has the start of arthritis in her shoulders and I took her to the vet last week who prescribed 10 days of anti inflammatory (metacam) and some supplements (seraquin). Sine she has been on them she has lost her appetite again and although she is not suffering from diarrhoea her stools are soft and smelly. So it's off the vet again - want to check this is nothing to be worried about. She seems uncomfy and not 100% in herself. Although she has dropped some weight again her coat is still thick and glossy so hopefully this is a temporary blip.

Sorry to hear this! Hope the medication will help. You might want to ask your vet about glucosamine/chondroitin for her arthritis: this is available for cats as well as people. I take it for mine, and it's well under control. (((hugs))) to you both! |
