Channel 4 now Bus Pass workforce


Anyone going to watch Channel 4 now Buss Pass workers I think its called retired people still working the "taster" of the two old dears cleaning reminds me of my Aunts - working because they wanted too.

I think anything that happens to break down the 'retirement' barrier is good by me!! My Mum was forced to retire at 65 but would have happily continued working for another 10 years. OH is 55 and can't begin to imagine retiring - he has a young family to support and anyway - he strongly believes that retirement is just one step away from the cemetery

Whether you need to or want to, you should be allowed to work for as long (or as short) as you feel is right for you and not be stigmatised for it!!

But I didn't see the programme - sorry
