Re: A large family

Is that all one family? Wow!

OH nearly saw a nasty incident with a duck mummy and her skein of little fluffy-bum ducklings, walking towards the pond with a horrible dark crow doing it's nasty peg-legged walk/hop/lurch behind the babies, catching up with them and looking hungry ..... just as he was wondering whether it would be better to shout, leap towards them, throw something, they came to the pond and 'dreeped' in, one by one, plop, plop, plop, to safety! Phew!

Re: A large family

I don't know if they were all hers of if she was 'duckling sitting' dm, but she was the only supervising adult!

Glad the baby ducks escaped the crow, i'm sick of chasing them from around our back garden, we have a few birds nesting there this year.
