Morning all. Lovely and sunny here, I think it's warm lol, haven't ventured outside yet. Off to church in a little bit, then home to sit in the garden. OH is in a lot of pain, was at a friends yesterday and was playfighting with his son, son being smaller came at him with a head butt to the ribs and OH may have a cracked rib!!! In a lot of pain. He went to bed last night all strapped up (I have a lot of bandages lol), so we'll see how he si when he surfaces. I've left him sleeping, needs as much as possible.
Have a good day all!

Morning all, sunny here but quite chilly....

Had a better sleep last night, took some pain killers and they seemed to do the trick, my hip isn't so painful today..

Going to search through the posts now to see if Smudgley has been on to give an update on the new mum and her kitts (hope she has accepted them now)...

Have a good day all!

Re: Daily thread - Sunday

Bee-u-ti-ful here. So hot. Have been with OH on the allotment doing a bit of construction and getting spinach and leeks for lunch (roast shoulder of Dorset spring lamb with rosemary - mmm), then some tidying at the front of the house. Now a half hour here before taking to the garden for the rest of the day. We had a bbq outside last evening - beautiful just sitting there eating, no heat, no lights, at 7pm - in April!. Hopefully this summer is just going to go on for ever(with rain occasionaly at night)
Hope the sun shines on everyone

Re: Daily thread - Sunday

Pretty much. OH and Dinah went to the woods whilst I was working at the front. Didn't notice them coming back, so I got leapt on by a silly wriggling thing, who insisted that, as I was crouching I needed kissees all over my face ............ Dinah was fine though!
