Worried about Guinness

Guinness is usualy a very placid cat to me but this morning he hissed and growled at me. He is a very big cat and cant reach his bottom end. I tried to comb him and he realy hissed at me which is very unusual. Put frontline line on him which we had to pin him down with a towel he hated that too. He also lately is sitting down with one of his back legs in the air. Other wise he is fine he goes out with the others but i am out with them so i know he hasnt beign hurt. I will take him to the vets if i dont think he is right. My oh thinks i am thinking that its the same thing as simon

Re: Worried about Guinness

Hope there is nothing serious wrong with Guiness... maybe he just gave himself a bump and is a bit tender...

Re: Worried about Guinness

The vet says he's got cystatas which could turn in what simons got, given him 3 injections and said he doesnt exercise enough and eats too much. The vet weighed him and he weighs 9kg's or 191bs 2oz's. The vet recommended we change his food to simon's infact where going to change kado and kays to wet as well so if guinness and simon eat it it wont cause as much problems as dry.

Re: Worried about Guinness

I wonder if they'd do better on bottled water too? Do you think there's a lot of chalk or similar in your tap water? Are you/does your water come from a limestone area?
