Shadow - she has been here a month now

Title pretty much says it all. First thing in the morning she is a normal loving kitten, when I go to feed her, she comes out, climbs on my knee and we have snuggles - she loves faces, and also my necklace!! But when she comes out in the evening, she is still quite skittish with me, and wont have fusses, and the past two nights I have had to try and catch her to get her back in the cage as she is being a ****** - I might try leaving her out overnight soon, but my three hiss and spit at her, so I have to find a balance there. I think she might have got bigger, she is at the vets next week cos she needs a wormer so I am using the chance to get her weighed. Still dont think she looks like a 5 month old though, will try and get a new pic later for you to see. But, a month is still early days, and I am pleased with the progress - although I did wonder last night when I ended up lying on the landing sliding along on my belly to see if I could get close to her!!

Re: Shadow - she has been here a month now

IT is still very early days - but we have ahd another fab evening, she still runs from me when she is playing, but she popped back in her cage for some food, so I picked her up, and put her on my knee, and we had lovely cuddles (as you can see) and she even willingly laid on my knee - so she loves affection, but playing seems to take over!! I doubt she will be rehomed before X MAs, as it is only 5 weeks off, and we dont home after the first week in December, which only gives me a fortnight or so. I still think she is a small 5month old, esp looking at Portia - all these pics bar the one on my ironing board were taken tonight, do excuse any clutter. Alex - somehow not my idea of fun!!
