Felinosaurus in a Hex

Bentley met the 2 jack russells from next-door-over-the-back yesterday . We heard yap yap crash and Bentley came through the hedge, with his tail completely cylindrical and a ridge down his back, like something prehistoric!
He's no wimp though - he's a feisty little horror. Took a minute or two to puff down, then you could almost visualise him huffing on his claws and polishing them on his chest before venturing out again to sort them out

The boys' characters have really come out now and they are not as we envisaged when they were babies. Bentley is the feisty, into everything, one. He is chunky and solid, he has an insistent one-note wail, during which he shows all his pointy teeth and gets called fang! He is normally good, but has been known to jump on the kitchen surfaces and make off with slices of bread, growling fiercely
Chester is a softie. His coat is silky and soft, his body is loose-limbed and long and his voice is a chatty, girly, chirrup or prip. Given the choice of exploring or staying home, he'll lie in front of the fire please
